Midnight In The Medina.

Another selection from my 1976 comic published by Star Reach Productions,"Midnight In The Medina" from Mary Skrenes and Mike Vosburg.

What I truly love about this is how...seventies it is.And I don't mean it's about overly obvious remnants of that decade, like Nixon, pet rocks or disco music.Anyone truly familiar with those ten years, particularly the mid-decade,will appreciate this for what it is....

Whattaya suppose Linda's name would've been if this were published today?
Lindsey Lowbrow?Kim Kardashyerhopes?

Gideon Faust,Warlock At Large!

Several years ago,I came into possession of a comic book from 1976...not published by DC or Marvel,or any company I'm familiar with, but by "Star Reach Productions".It's an anthology, containing several good stories, many of which were created by some of the most notable names in comics.Anyway, here's the first,Gideon Faust,Warlock At Large, by Len Wein and Howard Chaykin.
Set in Victorian London,it's sort of a Sherlock-Holmes-meets-Dr.-Strange-sort-of adventure.

There's some other amazing stuff in this comic...I may post it at some future date.
