National Lampoon's "MAD" parody.

I actually found these images on another blog, but I have seen this before...once in the original issue it appeared in,and in reprint form,in the trade volume National Lampoon's Magazine Rack.
I'm truly amazed on how well they replicated the styles of many of the usual gang of idiot artists. I am a little put off by their suggestion that,in 1971,MAD was outdated with its humor;and yet,of the two magazines......which lasted longer?

(still,at least the Lampoon made a successful comedy based on material from the pages of their own magazine, while MAD....well....the less said of that, the better)

The Dark Side continues.

More artwork of a dark nature, exploring the sinister, creepy,
                                                    monstrous or foreboding nature.
